Lonnie Johnson, 89, passed away on November 22, 2017. He was born on August 15, 1928 in Scotland Neck, NC to the late Martha Macklin Johnson and Burgess Johnson. He is survived by two daughters, Sarah Johnson Omeoga of Virginia Beach, VA and Mildred Griffin of Statesville, NC; a son, Lonnie Alexander Johnson Jr. of Norfolk, VA; a sister, Beulah Williams of Scotland Neck, NC and a brother, James Reynolds (Ruby) of Newport News, VA.
