Katie Scott, 94, gained her heavenly wings on August 9, 2017. She was born in Portsmouth, VA to the late Jordan Bailey & Betty Sue Bailey. From this union six lovely children were born. Katie later married the love of her life, Elder Norman Scott, Sr. Together God granted them to raise two lovely children Cynthia Griffin and Norman Scott, Jr. She was a wonderful Woman of God, true to what she believed in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Mother Scott served in many capacities in the church.

Joseph E Malloy Jr I personally knew sister Scott as a child as she was affectionately called. she was one my mothers best friends. I pray that the God of Peace bring you comfort at this time in knowing that she is resting in Jesus
