Ethel Parker-Chisholm, 79 years of age, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017. Ethel was born, January 29, 1938 in Rocky Mount North Carolina to the late Moses and Victoria Parker. She was the fifth of 15 children to which 9 of whom have proceeded her. Ethel was dedicated and work and ultimately retired from the Norfolk, Navy Hospital. She is remembered as being a very loving and generous wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was great collector of many antiques and proved to have a keen eye for a diamond in the rough. Her door was always open and a warm bed prepared for family in need. Her heart was so generous, she often found it hard to use the word, “No”. Ethel was predeceased in death by her husband, LD Chisholm. She leaves to cherish her loving memory her children, Terry Parker and Michael Parker; a grandson, TS Whitmore, Sr.; two great grandsons, TS Whitmore, Jr., and Isaiah Whitmore; five siblings, Bernice Chisholm, Betty-Jean Johnson, Aaron Parker, Venson Parker and Linda Chisholm; a brother-in-law, Elliott Chisholm and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Nicole I'm truly sorry for your loss of your loved one. May God's promise at Isaiah 25:8 provide comfort. He will wipe your tears and swallow up death forever, There shall be a resurrection, says Acts 24:15. What a time to look forward to when we will reunite with our loved ones, Psalm 37:29.
