Torrey Dewayne Stevens, 40 of Norfolk, VA departed from us on May 1, 2017 from natural causes. He was born on February 20, 1977 in Paterson, NJ to Irish D. Lovitt. His grandparents Isaac and Myrtice Stevens loved him as their own until their departure. Torrey graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Paterson, NJ. He served 10 years in the Navy (Veteran) and worked 10years as a sales associate at Little Joes in Chesapeake, VA. He is survived by mother, Irish D. Lovitt; daughter, Torreyanna Marie Stevens; sisters, Irish (II0 and Thashieka Lovitt; nephew, Jeremy Barnes; fatherfigure, Mike Lawrence and a host of uncles, aunt, cousins and friends. Torrey was a very hard working man who cherished everything and never took anything for granted. Everything he did was for his daughter. He was known for his jokes and dimples. To know Torrey was to love him. Even though we loved him God loved him best and needed another angel in his kingdom.
