She was the daughter of the late Pinkie and William Thomas Richardson. She was born on April 16, 1952 in Wadesboro, North Carolina and moved to Baltimore, MD and later attended Frederick Douglas High School. On March 16, 1974 she married Roland Lester Miles in her family’s home on Federal Street in Baltimore, MD. She started working at Franklin Square Hospital Center in March of 1980. She stopped working in December 2013, after suffering an illness. Linda retired from Franklin Square after completing thirty-three years of employment. Linda’s enjoyment came from watching her grandchildren grow, and spending time with them. To them, she was affectionately known as Gran. She loved going to church and enjoyed her time with the Lord. Linda also loved planting flowers and gardening. Her family meant the world to her, as she helped raise many different generations. At a young age, she gave her life to Christ and was baptized. In April 1976, she faithfully served under the leadership of the late Reverend Rusty Whitaker. In the following years, she joined Zion Baptist Church under the late Pastor Stephen L. Thomas, where she became a Deaconess. In October 2017, she moved to Chesapeake, Virginia and joined All Power Ministries, under the leadership of Apostle Gregory B. Reese and Co- Pastor Yvette Elder Reese. This would complete her spiritual and physical journey. As the Lord called her home (Matthew 5:23), His Lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant; thou has been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things; enter into the joy of the Lord. She leaves to mourn: her daughter, Kenyetta Claiborne; son in law, Marvin Claiborne; five grandchildren, Marvin Claiborne, Jr., Amari Smith, Marcus Claiborne, Jabari Smith, Marquise Claiborne; three great grandchildren, Marlon Baylor, Makaya Claiborne, Marvin Claiborne, III; aunt, Hattie Bennet; niece, Patrice Crest; great niece, Tatayana Crest; newphew, Damion Barco; and a host of other relative and close friends that she loved dearly.

Linda My deepest Sympathy goes out to the family, losing a love one in death is a very trying time. Please find comfort in knowing what the bible says about the opportunity of seeing our dear love ones again under the very best conditions @ Isaiah 25:8 . Please also go to JW.org for more encouragement from God's word for our dear love ones .

Eldress Marilyn D, Clemons My friend we meet for a short time, but in those short days, you were a joy to be around. We laugh together, and we were going to set us up a road trip, but God beat me to it. He call you home to eternal rest. I have been thinking about you later, your sudden death, I wasn't ready for, but God knew your pain and He heard your cry and say it is time for you to come home now. I'm going to miss you, and most of all your joking and laughter, that has me smiling right now as I write these memories of you. Enjoy your heavenly blessings. You are going to be truly miss my friend...
