On early Sunday morning, November 5, 2017 our brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend Samuel E. White Jr., entered into his final resting place. Samuel was born in Norfolk VA and raised in Chesapeake VA to the late Samuel E. White Sr and Gladys G. White. Lucky as he was affectionately called by all who knew him, was a student of the Chesapeake Public School System. He was a Coast Guard and Army Veteran. He also worked as a maintenance worker for the federal government before retiring from service. Lucky was funny, loved to hand dance, and had an infectious laugh that could truly light up a room. He enjoyed a good time and looked forward to being around his family. He loved to listen to oldies but goodies and enjoyed watching football, wrestling, and basketball. Lucky leaves to cherish his memories with his loving Mother Gladys G. White Virginia, his longtime friend Janice Thomas Maryland, his brother Daniel White (Margaret) Chesapeake Virginia, his sister Dianne Wilkins (Willie) Lanham Maryland, his brother Joseph White (Phyllis) Bowie Maryland, his brother Duane White (Cynthia) Chesapeake Virginia, his sister Sharon Spikes (Christopher) Virginia Beach Virginia, and sister Sandy White Chesapeake Virginia; and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, friends, and other relatives.

M. Bonner Our sincere condolences are extended to Ms. Gladys and the White family. We hold dear the memories of Mr. Lucky and our dad (Van) hanging together when we were little girls. May you find comfort in knowing that he is in a better place. With love, The VanCleaves (Michelle, Sherron, Melanie and Shaniqua)
