Mildred Creekmur was a lifelong member of East End Baptist Church in Suffolk, VA. She was a member of the Portsmouth Chapter of the Pinochle Bugs Social and Civic Club, Inc., the Suffolk Deecees Pinochle Social Club, and a Charter member of the Portsmouth Drifters, Inc. She was also predeceased by sisters Thelma Legette and Margaret Locust and friend/sister Mildred Southall, brothers-in-law Garnette Hayes, Burnie Legette, Winfield Creekmur, and Carver Joyner. She is survived by one sister Bernice P. Hayes, one sister-in- law Olivia Joyner, one cousin/brother- in- law Henry Southall, a devoted niece Angela L. Daniels, nieces Sharon L. Sobers (Roger), Michele Legette, Bernita Kaye Hayes, Pamela Southall, Denise West (Al), nephews Durothy Frank Locust (Erma), Ray M. Daniels, Jeff Legette (Kristi), Michael Legette (Flori), Burnie Legette, II (Michelle) and Wendell.Joyner. She is also survived by a goddaughter Patricia S. Smith (Emmitt), a devoted friend/sister, Elizabeth Bernard, and a host of other loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Linda To the Family. Losing a love one in death is a trying time for all. I just want to give the family some comfort and hope from God's word, which gives the assurance that one day we will see our dear love ones again. ACTS 24:15 And I have a hope toward God, which hope these(men) themselves also entertain, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteuos and the unrighteous. Certainly while we await for these wonderful promise, I hope the family truly find comfort knowing this wonderful hope from Gods word.

Lamont Simmons My deepest sympathy goes out to the family, friends, neighbors and colleagues of the beloved Mrs. Creekmur. I fondly remember her from my days at Crestwood High. She is sorely missed.
