Aaron James Richardson entered eternal rest into the arms of his heavenly father on Tuesday, November 28, 2017. He was born on January 24, 1978. Aaron was raised in Norfolk, VA by his grandparents the late, Juanita G. and Robert E. Block. We will always remember Aaron’s love for singing, joking, laughter, sense of humor and his love for his family. He leaves to cherish is memory; his wife, Nikeya L. Richardson; aunt, Lestina Williams; uncle, Christopher Richardson; cousins, Earnest Smith, Christopher Tillman, Chrishawn Tillman, Lorenzo Williams, Angel Williams and Suliman Wheeler.

Joe Morgan I was blessed to walk with Aaron this past year. His wit, intellect, good humor and outgoing nature were enjoyable. He shared with me on Monday before his untimely homegoing that he had found a new church and wanted to dress up for services. Only God knows why we get the opportunity to walk together for a while. My journey with Aaron was hopeful and joyful. Joe Morgan, Saint Columba Ecumenical Ministries

Robert Slattery Aaron, it shouldn't be this way. You were my boy, my ace, my brother, and my friend. Two peas in a pod, always getting in trouble. Ms. Nita always knew, but I guess I can talk about the time we snuck into Met Park in 1991. No one knew except us. My friend, my brother, I hope you find that peace that you have been searching for. I love you, fam. Do it big, and give Doug, Ms. Nita, and Wendell a big hug for me. See you when I get there. Hold a spot for me. I miss you, my friend.
