Nell Wardrick Mitchell was born on June 12, 1941 in Nashville, North Carolina to Robert Cleveland Wardrick (decease) and Minnie Beulah Wardrick (decease). Nell was the eldest of five children. Her only sister; Louise Wardrick-Alston (widowed, Theodore) of Washington, DC. Her brothers; Robert Cleveland Wardrick (Carolyn) of Campus Springs, MD, Raymond Eugene Wardrick (Rosslyn) Glenarden, MD, and Calvin Charles Wardrick (Gwendolyn) of Chesapeake, VA. At an early age, Nell’s parents moved to Virginia where she grew up, received her education and became a member of Saint Mark of God Church. In 1957, Nell became the bride of George Ray Mitchell. Together, they had two sons; Steve Alexander (Virginia Beach, VA) and Kenneth Patrick (Reading, PA). She also had a third son, Walter Douglas Riddick of Virginia Beach, VA. Nell is survived by a host of grandchildren, great nieces and nephews, Dominique Riddick, Jalen Riddick, Jairus Riddick, Justice Riddick, Iesha Langley, Nicole Mitchell, Kenia Mitchell, Kebo Mitchell, Desmond, Katrina, Debra, Dermaine, Rene and Reggie. Nell, thank you for spending time with us. We Love You!

Linda To the Family. Losing a love one in death is a trying time for all. I just want to give the family some comfort and hope from God's word, which gives the assurance that one day we will see our dear love ones again. ACTS 24:15 And I have a hope toward God, which hope these(men) themselves also entertain, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteuos and the unrighteous. Certainly while we await for these wonderful promise, I hope the family truly find comfort knowing this wonderful hope from Gods word.
