Verlease M. Davis was born to the late Earl Saunders and Christine Price in Portsmouth, Virginia on January 22, 1940. Verl was a member of First Baptist Logan Park Baptist Church. She was very involved in different church activities. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant. On June 12, 1999 Verlease Davis married his beloved late husband Ernest L. Davis of Huntsville, Alabama. Their union flourished for over 40 years. During their special love for helping others, and Verl’s love for people, she especially children. Verl had a daycare in Titustown called “Little Muppets Day” where she raised children from infants to adult hood. Additionally, she was willing to help in anyway possible to those in need. Besides her love for God Verlease will always cherish her times with her children, grandchildren, family and friends. Verl leaves to cherish her memories her mother Christine , her daughters Kimmie Stewart of Atlanta, Georgia; Thomzsette Martinez, Maryland. Verl leaves to cherish her memories her mother Christine Price; 3 daughters Kimmie Stewart Glenn and Mia Alston both of Georgia and Thomazette Martinez of Northern Virginia, Stepsons; Larry Davis, Carl Davis, Brenda Jones, Hope Franklin, Grandchildren; Ryan Stewart, William Harrell, Jhera Gallop, Dustin Gallop, Patrice Gallop, Raul Martinez, III, Great Grandchildren; Zahir Stewart, Alysia Nelson, Ziyonna Gallop, Omaria Gallop, Josiah Halley, Brother; Preston Cobb of Maryland, Sisters; Valerie Uche of Georgia, Charlotte Atkins of Moyock, North Carolina; Ruby Johnson of Norfolk, Virginia; and proceeded in death Julia Pulley. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

lisa l'm truly sorry for the loss of your loved one. At times you may feel that Gods should fix this "NOW". God's word assures us that death & suffering will end(Revelation 21:4). I hope this brings some comfort to you. For more encouragement please go to JW.or

Monique To all the family, My condolences go out to you.. Ms. Vera was a sweet, loving, kind, and caring person. And not only did she love her kids and grandbabies, she loved everyone who was around her, even me. I'm glad I got to meet you and spend some time around you. Thanks for letting me spend that Thanksgiving with you and your family. We had a ball and your food was so good!!! You will be missed!! Love you!
