Rebecca Davis Brown united with the Lord on September 8, 2017. She was a native of Kingstree, South Carolina and long term residency in Norfolk, Virginia. She is survived by sister, Mattie M. Penn, brothers, Pastor William and Joseph Giles. She was a long time member of Abyssinia Baptist Church and later joined The Fullness of God Ministry Church. Mrs. Davis is also survived by 7 daughters, Audrey Harrell, Khaleedah Muhammad (Barbara A. Davis), Teresa Davis, Virgis Cutler, Juanita Young, Renita Crandle, Diane Davis and 3 sons; Acie Sabb, Samuel Davis Jr., John Davis and devoted niece, Brenda Clifton. She has 32 grandchildren, 42 great grands and 2 great-great grands and also a host of nephews, nieces and cousins.

Byron W Brown I remember how much wisdom that Mrs. Davis spoke to me. How many times she fed me in making that walk with Sam going back to school for practice. I was so grateful for those times. I pray for the comfort of the family that this time will bring you closer together. You all have wonderful memories of your Mother being a part of your life.
