On January 13, 2018 It pleased God to call home unto himself out beloved, Daughter, Mother, Sister, Aunt and friend. Joyce passed away on January 13, 2018 at the age of 58 she was born and raised in Norfolk, VA. She attended Lake Taylor High School in Norfolk, VA. She also attended Cosmetology School. Where she got her License doing hair. She was especially known for braiding hair and cooking. She would feed anybody. She was loved by everyone. She had a beautiful smile and wasn’t afraid to tell somebody off. She loved dressing to impress. She loved her Pepsi soda. Her favorite saying was that “devil is a liar”. She was predeceased by her father, Mr. Raymond Pope and her granddaughter, Chasity Parker. She was the single mother of four children; two daughters, Tishara Parker and Latasha Parker; two sons, Joshua Parker and Antonio Parker; her mother, Martha Pope; one sister, Teresa Pope; two brothers, Santonio Pope (Chinita) and Leroy Pope. Grandmother of seven grandkids, Cortisha Parker, Kieshawanda Parker, Zyiona Bullip, Zamya Parker Zion Butts, Zykee Butts, Antonio Parker, II, and a host of cousins and other relatives and friends. Joyce also worked at Chesapeake, K-Mart as a cook. She loved her Nursing staff that took care of her. Joyce never met a stranger everyone she met loved her.
