Clayton Lee Parson, Jr. of Norfolk, VA went home to be with the Lord and Savior on September 21, 2017. He was born to the late Clayton L. Parson, Sr. and Mildred Hayes Parson. he was predeceased by his daughter, Carvert M. Parson and his twin brother, Joseph E. Parson (Lupina). Clayton was employed at Shaw Paint Company. He attended St. Mark RZUA Church for fifteen plus years. He was a faithful and dedicated member of the Male Usher Board and the Male Chorus until his health declined. Clayton Parson was a caring and loving man who will be missed by many. We will always love you Papa Smurf. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife, Alfreda R. Parson; two sisters, Barbara Johnson (Richard) and Beverly Burney; nine sons, Donald Parson (Shanice), Clayton Parson, Carl Parson, Anthony Parson (Shiree), Cary Parson, Cavin Parson, Deshawn Bell, Marcey Bell and Maurice Hicks; two daughters, Sabrina Parson and Keisha Crump (Angelo); twenty eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
