Daquan Deontre Davis age 19, also affectionately known as “Dae” by close family and friends left us to be with our Father on December 12, 2017. Daquan was born September 17, 1998 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital to his mother, Tabetha Davis and father, Marvin Alexander both of Norfolk, VA. Daquan was a beautiful baby boy with the cutest smile and head full of hair, that although he loved it, he dreaded getting it combed. He grew up in the Tidewater Gardens and Shoop Park area of Norfolk, VA where he played football for the Pedigree Dawgs and Maury High School. Daquan loved his family and friends, loved making music with friends, In his spare time he would chill with his brothers and friends and shoot hoops at the local basketball court. Daquan really loved the Lord and his cherished friendships. You could always catch him with his righthand man Rashad Walker. Daquan leaves to cherish his memory, mother Tabetha Davis; father, Marvin Alexander; ever faithful guardian and stepmother, Natoya Pinkney; stepmother, Shameka Alexander; maternal grandparents, Valerie Davis, Robert White and Beverly Pinkney; paternal grandparents, Debra Alexander; siblings, Tyquan Alexander; Asia Davis, Marques Greene, Tydajah Alexander, Tanisha Davis, Nayquan Alexander, Teasja Taylor and Treverse Taylor.

Dab I'm truly sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy often leaving your tears to speak the pain. Please know that God is a source of comfort, for he is near the brokenhearted, Psalm 34:18. He takes no pleasure in death, Ezekiel 18:32 and will bring the enemy death to nothing, 1 Corinthians 15:26.
