Everett L. Banks, Sr. passed away September 2, 2017.

Angelo and Dianne Walston Suggs, Sr. and Family of Hampton, Virginia In heartfelt prayers, sincerest condolences, and much love to Darla and the Banks Family: “There are things that we don't want to happen but have to accept, things we don't want to know but have to learn, and people we don't want to live without but have to let go.” For every life has a purpose to fill under heaven according to the Master’s plan. Everett’s seemingly assigned purpose was to make this world understand what the “Fruits of the Spirit”—love, joy, peace, kindness, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, self-control and long suffering—were all about. Thus, in knowing him as a treasured family friend, Everett ran the race with great commitment and devotion to his family, friends, and so many others: an assignment truly well done! Yet, "isn't it sweet, just to know that one day, we'll all meet again." Until then, may God’s abundant blessings and comforting peace abide always in His promise of eternal life (2 Corinthians 5:1).

Alexis Whitaker I just wanna send my condolences to the Banks family. Big E (what we called him at work) was a really nice guy. Always had a smile on his face that would brighten up your day. He was a very hard worker and not once did you hear him complain. We are really missing E here at California Cartage. Not a day that goes by that we don't miss his presence. RIP BIG E
