Denice was born to Weston B. Miller and Nancy C. (Fowler) Miller on August 29, 1956. She was the third daughter of four girls, Denice known to some as “Diane”, departed this life on Tuesday, March 6, 2018. Her earthly address changed to a new address “Heaven Bound”. Denice is also predeced in death by her parents, sister, Wesley Ann Miller and niece, Patti Thomas. She was educated through the Plainfield New Jersey Public School System. After graduating from high school she was employed by Lyons Hospital, Berkley Heights, New Jersey. There she worked as a dietician for 20years. During her early teenage years she met David N. Davis. They were united in Holy Matrimony on August 28, 1976, by the late Pastor Walter G. Hailey at Metropolitan Baptist Church Scotch Plains, New Jersey. After many years in Plainfield Diane and David decided to travel and explore their options for a new place of residency. They started by going to Virginia Beach, Virginia. The next stop was Brooklyn, New York. They resided in Brooklyn for a few years and then decided to return to Plainfield, New Jersey. After a short stay they returned to Brooklyn, NY. They made this there home until concluding to return to Virginia Beach in 2002 where she lived for 16years until her departure. Diane leaves her cherished memory to her husband of 41years David Nathan Davis; two sisters, Margaret M. Thomas(Willie) of Virginia Beach, VA and Ella C. Pearyer (Lawrence AKA Larry) of Plainfield, NJ; God-son, Antione Jovan Charles of South Plainfield, NJ; two Goddaughters, Tanda Lee Fowler-Pratt of Virginia Beach, VA and Tiffany Cook-Clements of Camden, NJ; three aunts, Elizabeth (Fowler) Jasper, of Somerset, NJ, Maggie Fowler of Camden, SC and Docia Fowler of Montgomery, AL; nieces, Nancy Lynn Thomas –Tyler of Virginia Beach, VA, Teresa Pearyer of South Plainfield, NJ, Mellanie Frazier(Vaughn) of Brooklyn, NY; nephews, Weston Lamont Pearyer(Mary) of Plainfiled, NJ, Lawrence Edward Pearyer of Plainfiled, NJ; great nieces, Arania Peterson(Jermaine), Alvin Jamir(Tracey), Harmonie Thomas, Cortez Jackson, Ci’ara “Roxy” Jackson, Avery Tyler all of Virginia Beach, VA, Antione Jovan Charles of Sotuh Plainfield, NJ, Ashlee Mone’ Parr of North Brunswick, NJ, Lawrence ‘LP’ Pearyer of Plaiinfield, NJ; two godsisters, Camilla Fowler and Edna Jones along with a host of great grand nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
