Fannie M. Taylor, 76, of the 1300 block of Herbert Collins Way passed away on January 13, 2018. She was born on May 30, 1941 to the late Esther M. Lee and the late George W. Lee in Winton, NC. She was the widow of Vernon D. Taylor and predeceased by her brothers, George W. Lee, James N. Lee and William H. Lee. She was educated in the Norfolk Public School System. Fannie retired after 30 years of service from Omni/Sheraton Norfolk Waterside and continued employment with Bon Secours and Harbors Edge. Fannie is survived by her daughters, Angela L. Mingo, Vernota A. Taylor, Laverne E. Ballew (Toby), Stacey N. Taylor and Tracey V. Smith (Cleveland); son, James A. Lee (Marilyn); 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
