Darrell Cross, 52, was born on May 29, 1965 in Portsmouth, VA to the late Edward A. Cross and surviving Sandra Cross. He departed this life on August 2, 2017 at his residence. Darrell graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Portsmouth, VA in 1983. He served 8 years of Military time in the U.S. Army where he received honorable discharge as a Sergeant. He then went on to transition at Norfolk General Hospital as a sterile Processing Technician for lengthy period of years. He also later held this position at Harborview and Maryview Hospitals. His final destination took him to Consulate Health Care Center, where he was the Payroll Administrator. Darrell was predeceased by a brother; Steven Cross. Darrell leaves to cherish his loving, faithful wife Latonya, a beautiful daughter, Dearra, a son (lilman) Kyle; two step-children, Titorious Jones, Jr. and Jamyia Hill; three brothers, Anthony Cross (Gwendolyn), Eric Cross and Brian Cross; three sisters Rosalyn Cross, Regina Blackmon, and Erica Ashe and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
