Romans 14:8 (KJV) - For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s. Angela Victoria Walton, affectionately known as “Vickie”, daughter of Mary Boone and the late James Boone, was born on September 17, 1959. She departed this life on March 27, 2018 at Maryview Hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia. Vickie graduated from Manor High School in Portsmouth, Virginia. Vickie attended Morning Star Baptist Church as a child. She has been a faithful member of Tabernacle Church under the leadership of Bishop Marcus D. Brown, Sr. since its inception. Vickie always found a reason to have a family dinner or some type of family gathering at her house. “We will miss those great gatherings. We will probably still have them, but it won’t be the same without her.” Vickie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Walton. Left to cherish her memories are her mother, Mary Boone and her stepfather, William Boone; her siblings, Mario Slade (Mary), Tim Jackson of Portsmouth, VA, Valerie Annette Scales (James) of Fayetteville, NC, Shawn Boone of New York, James A. Boone (Viola), Eldridge Boone (Alberta), William Boone, Jr. (Kiesha), and Tasha Boone, all of Portsmouth, VA; a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and her best friend, Doretha Williams.

Tina Cross So sorry for the loss of your love one and my dearest best friend whom I will miss so so much.I am gone miss talking on the phone everyday going out eating all the time or simply being together or just going to her house after church or just one of her good ole family functions. She sure knew how to bring her family & friends together on special occasions but unfortunately this one is much different than the other ones.Knowing Angie , she wants this occasion to be just as the ones she put together.I don't know a soul that didn't like or love Angie..she was just a sweet genuine person .She never complained a lot ..I could go on ....I want Angie's family to know that my heart is so heavy now and that I am gon miss her and that I Love Her with all my ❤ Tina Cross

veryl j hines Rest in Peace Missing the phone calls already, even though distance kept me from attending the gatherings, nothing separated the family love. Thanks for the words of encouragement recently as I was facing my trials and you showed me what faith in God was really like, you never complained and kept laughing and smiling. Rest in the hands of our Heavenly Father The Hines and Harris Family (Arkansas and Texas)

Dab My sincere thoughts and prayers are with your family at this difficult time. God soon promises to bring death to nothing, 1 Corinthians 15:26. There shall be a resurrection, Acts 24:15 assures. May God(Psalm83:18) strengthen you for the days ahead
