Mrs. Norma Jean Boston Whitehurst was called home to be with Our Lord on the morning of November 6, 2017 after a battle with an illness for sixteen years. She was born to Mrs. Matilda Goddard Boston and the Late William Luke Boston, Jr. on July 4, 1942. She was preceded in death by : One son: Robert L Whitehurst; Father William Luke Boston; three brothers: William, Tommy and Robert Boston; One sister: Lillie Marie Boston Rhodes; She leaves to cherish her precious memories her mother, Matilda Goddard Boston; two daughters: Cynthia Butts(Norfolk,Va); Bonnie Whitehurst(Norfolk, Va), one son : LTC(ret) Darrell(Tonya) Whitehurst; eight grandchildren: Monique Whitehurst, Latoria Jenkins, Latifa Butts, Douglass Butts, Xavier Butts, Derron Whitehurst, DeAndre Whitehurst; Robert Lucas; five great children, three sisters: Leda Bryant(Norfolk), Patricia Gaye(Norfolk), Shelby Peele(Todd), Williamston, N.C. three brothers: Dr. E.G. Boston(Deborah), Yorktown Virginia; Pastor Phillip Boston(Murfreesboro, NC), Michael Boston(Dana) Gainsville, VA., one Aunt: Mrs. Gertrude Council Godard and a host of cousins and friends.
