Willie T. Saulter entered into eternal life on April 14, 2017. He was born in Norfolk County, VA to the late Willie and Artellia Saulter. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Saulter; his daughter, Dr. Janelle Saulter; his grandson, Christian Jeffries; three sisters, Sarah Anderson, Bertha Pace, and Eunice Jenkins (Matthew Jr.); and a host of extended family and friends. Willie was a graduate of Crestwood High School where he broke the track record for high jump and attended Norfolk State University before joining the U.S. Army. At Wilson Trucking Corporation, he served over 30 years of outstanding service and retired as a professional Driving Instructor. His greatest joy was spending time and traveling extensively with his family. Willie greeted everyone he met with a smile and touched the lives of many.

Stephanie G. He was such a wonderful person and there wasn't a time I saw him without a big smile on his face. It was evident that he loved his family and friends. I've known the family practically my entire life and I can truly say I was blessed with lifelong friends. The family has my deepest condolences.

Vanessa Joyner Richardson Dear Barbara, Janelle, and the family: I was so sorry to hear of Willie's passing, and offer my love and prayers to you all during this difficult time. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, and we know that this good man is resting in peace. It was a blessing and honor to meet Willie at NNSY through Barbara, even briefly because I will never forget how nice he looked and the confidence he portrayed as a proud man of color. Most of all, I will never forget how much he loved his family, and how he provided for them. Willie was a very special person. Love and prayers, Vanessa and Linwood Richardson and family, Gainesville, Virginia

The Edmonds Family We send you our deepest sympathy. Words cannot console when we have lost someone we love in death. It is comforting to know that the Bible proclaims good news. It is the news that sickness, hunger crime and wars and all sorts of oppression, as well as death, will be brought to an end by God's Kingdom acdording to Revelation 21:3, 4. This Scripture and others have brought us much comfort and we hope it will bring you and your family some comfort as well.
