On Tuesday, January 9, 2018 our dear beloved Marian Theressa Howard departed this life to be with the Lord. Marian is a native of Norfolk, Virginia where she was educated in Norfolk at Booker T. Washington High class of 1959 and a graduate of Norfolk State University. Marian taught in the Norfolk Public School system where she retired. She is a member of Second Calvary Baptist Church, Norfolk, Virginia. Survived to cherish her memory are sons Anthony (Sabrina) and Maurice (Marilyn); her siblings and a host of relatives and friends.

Donna Garnette Alexander Marian shared with me that she knew my parents and kept me when I was a child. I always enjoyed socializing and dancing with her in Line Dance class. She had such a sweet and pleasant spirit. She will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.

Our beloved mother has moved on to the place where there is no more crying and no more restless nights.
