Mr. Joseph Vernon Taylor Jr. (BOONIE), was born on July 9, 1955 to the late Joseph Vernon Taylor Sr. and Addie Mae Gray Moore. Boonie is a loving husband, father, grandfather and proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. After having fought a good fight, he passed away on the evening of July 29, 2017. He closed his eyes to the pains of this world and transitioned from labor to reward in the comfort of his home while surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by one sister, Carol Ann Taylor; three brothers, Donald "Donnie" Taylor, Ronald "Slim" Taylor, and Terrance "Bo" Taylor. Bonnie leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted wife of 41 years Marilyn Denise Taylor; one son, Tremayne D. Taylor (Keisha), four daughters, Cassandra Cook (Da'Shawn), Caprice Taylor (Earnest), Jamaica Smith (Patrick), and Tia Taylor; twelve grandchildren, Shuenetta, Diabolique, Kiara, Shaquala, Tremayne Jr., Jakea, Jayde, Chiane, Darius, Devin, TaVion, and Trenton; seven great grandchildren, Te'Shaun, Tay'Vion, Carnell, Chi'Nell, SiMir, Aziah, Nadia; one sister, Joann Thomas; four brothers, Angelo Taylor (Sherron), Lawrence Taylor, Ernest Taylor, Darrell Taylor (Deanna); a loving Aunt, Marguerite Reid Askew; and a host of aunts, uncles, neices, nephews, cousins and friends.
