Ernest Nathaniel Keeling, Jr. 81 passed on April 3, 2017. He was born on December 25, 1935 to the late Odessa Keeling and Ernest Nathaniel Keeling, Sr. He was also predeceased by his wife, Katie Belle Keeling; daughter, Debra Annette Keeling; son, Sean Dean Keeling; granddaughter, Debra A. Keeling; sisters, Elsie Brown and Odessa Stancill. Ernest retired from the U.S. Air Force after of 23 years of service and also retired as an electrician at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He graduated from Tidewater Community College. Ernest leaves to cherish his memory, four daughters, Cennia Vines (Alonzo) of Norfolk, VA, Tina Keeling-Bucksell (Lynn) of Alexandria, VA, Perri Keeling of Norfolk, VA and Carla Simmons (Terry) of Virginia Beach, VA; two sons, Gary Keeling of Virginia Beach, VA and Anthony Keeling of Lynchburg, VA and host of grandchildren and great grand children and other relatives and friends.

Lamont Simmons M deepest sympathy goes out to family, friends, colleagues and neighbors on the passing the beloved Ernie. He was a great colleague of ours at NNSY,C950 and is sorely missed.

Linda To the Family. Losing a love one in death is a trying time for all. I just want to give the family some comfort and hope from God's word, which gives the assurance that one day we will see our dear love ones again. ACTS 24:15 And I have a hope toward God, which hope these(men) themselves also entertain, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteuos and the unrighteous. Certainly while we await for these wonderful promise, I hope the family truly find comfort knowing this wonderful hope from Gods word.
