On Thursday August 3,2017, an angel descended from heaven and received into thy heavenly kingdom our beloved, James Albert Goldsborough. He will truly be missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He holds a memory in each one of us that cannot be replaced. Although he went home to the lord at a young age we know that god makes no mistakes. James, son of the late Nancy Goldsborough and Earl Goldsborough Sr was born February 25,1969 in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. He was a graduate of Chester high in which he was a member of the band, he played the trombone. After the completion of high school, he began his career in the Navy in which he served for four years. James also known as “golds” by his shipmates and band buddies later move to Virginia where he met his wife of 23 years Angela Goldsborough. James was an all-around man and a hard worker, there was nothing that he could not do. Some of his previous jobs include: working at McGrorgy glass, Sams club tire tech, & The Norfolk Navy shipyard. James hobbies include; fishing, gaming, singing, cooking, gardening, and most of all being a handy man! James is predeceased by his Mother, Nancy Goldsborough and Father, Earl Goldsborough Sr. He leaves to cherish his memories with his wife Angela Goldsborough, Two daughters; Jasmine & Ja’yonna Goldsborough, One son; Deville Jackson (Marta), Three grandchildren; Sa’Niyah Barnes, Deville Jackson Jr., and Amiyah Jackson, Two brothers; Earl Goldsborough Jr. (Alisa) and Brian Goldsborough (Casondra), and a host of family and friends.

Harry Fish My Brother Golds, gonna miss you Shipmate. Rest easy sailor. Gonna play your jam one more time. Fall Dawg for life!! Fish Dawg out!!

Vicki Whalen God has gained a awesome angel one that I will always remember with his awesome smile and laughter. I feel blessed that I did get to meet him and know him while on the USS Niagara Falls. My prayers go out to his family that angels will be watching over each one of them. His journey has ended here on earth but one day we will see him in heaven! Good and faithful servant god is saying!
