Frederick Douglas Scott also known as “Fred” was born October 23, 1955 and was the son of the late James and Mary Scott. He was a native of Norfolk, Virginia. Fred is a graduate of Norview High School. He was a 20 year veteran of the United States Army. He continued to serve by working for the Department of Defense as a Traffic Manager from 2004 to 2017. Along with his parents, Fred was predeceased by his sister, Evangeline Jennings and brother, James A. Scott. Fred leaves to cherish is precious memory his wife, Janet Scout; two daughters, Vivian and Bridgette both of Albuquerque, NM; a sister, Vivian Berths of Chesapeake, VA; brother in-law, William Jennings of Chesapeake, VA; sister in-law, Linda Scott of Norfolk, VA; niece, Cherie Jennings of Chesapeake, VA; nephew, James Scott, III (Alisha) of Northern, VA; 2 great nieces, London and Lawren Gatlin of Chesapeake, VA; and a host of loving other relatives and friends.

Linda My deepest Sympathy goes out to the family, losing a love one in death is a very trying time. Please find comfort in knowing what the bible says about the opportunity of seeing our dear love ones again under the very best conditions @ Isaiah 25:8 .
